  1. If the residents of the town want it and their taxpayer base can pay for it? Then have at it…..but, it’s a HUGE expense hope they count all the cost!

  2. This is nothing but a bandstand for ex cop and failed rental property owner Pittsville town councilman Bob Harris . George Whitehead along with Mr Harris himself have approved 12 k in the town budget for a part time code enforcement officer all pushed by Harris. Thats 1 k a month in someones pocket but it cannot be Bob Harris because if you work for the town of Pittsville you cannot by charter be on council or any planning and zoning commitees. So…. Lets just wait and see how long he stays on the council when the town releases that job.
BOB Harris You have been blogged!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. It would be more cost effective if the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office had a sub-station located somewhere on the eastside of the county and would reduce response time to calls for service in that area of the county.

Do you think they are all at the current Headquarters sleeping and waiting to be dispatched? What an idiot you are. What will be happening in the near future the Town of Pittsville will be paying a contract to the WCSO for services within the city limits.

  4. No doubt Bob Harris is behind this. Thanks to 8:11 for the info. Poor Bob has been fired from every police job he’s had. Recently he’s run through Delmar and then Snow Hill. Now the guy lives in a sad little house across from Pittsville school. Bob used to run a home improvement/construction business and his garage looks about to collapse under its own weight. I don’t know what his deal is; alcohol maybe.

  5. Last I heard the county taxpayer already pays a full time salary for a code enforcement officer so why does a small township which does not even own a small dump truck foot the bill for this clown to be a dick to town residents about dumb shit.
How about George Whited and gang mail all the town taxpayers a update on how the money that was stolen under The Denver Diaries was paid back to the town? Maybe Paul Wilbur can touch base on that issue at the next town meeting?

  6. No they don’t need it, but what does need to happen is that the Town’s like Pittsville, Willards, Hebron, Mardela and Sharptown need to pony up and start paying for police services within their corporate boundaries or get their own police department. It’s not fair to all the county tax payers while Fruitland, Salisbury, and Delmar are paying for their own.

  8. Bob Harris used to be prepper2012, a contributor on sbyspews. He’s probably got big plans to turn Pittsville into an apocalypse doomsday prepper bunker and use that 12k to buy some 2×4 studs to prop up his garage roof.

      1. Well Bob! Clean up your junkyard before giving out citations for other town residents. Oh and by the way! Do you have a county and town permit to prop up the shit hole barn in your yard?

  10. The town needs a code enforcement official more than a police officer. I see many areas zoned R-2 residential being used as domiciled businesses with 25 to 30 foot rollback trucks residing over nite and leaving all hours of the day and night with junk truck and car parts and untagged vehicles at the same locations and the town council knows this because it has been addressed at town meetings several times to closed ears. And everyone knew when Bob Harris showed up and got involved with the town there had to be something in it for Beggin Bob and he has fooled the Pittsville town council and now the taxpayers have to foot the bill. And as far as Joe the town manager he is doing things to drive new commercial business or residential building out of town like raising the impact fees from 10 k to 15k and increasing the connection fees from 1 k to 2 k.
