Wow thinking about the many years that I have been doing this site except for the past few years, I have many regrets. I think time and age changes your perspective on things. There are many politicians that I regret ever helping win Office in any form. I used the “I like them better” philosophy for many of the battles that I fought, only to see where we are today . Several of the people that I did work for are no longer around, but the damage they did to Salisbury before they left really gave me regrets. Many of the issues the City has are from policies left behind that have only grown like a weed.
The truth is when I started looking again at our local politics, I didn’t know 3/4 of the people in elected office. They were nobodies in the political scene even ten years ago. I am saddened that many good representatives have moved on and abandoned the local area. Much like in National Politics our area, especially in Salisbury are led by liberal minded representatives. We waste time electing local conservative State representatives who have zero impact in Annapolis and to be honest never will.
What that leaves is a State and a City that are run by the same groups of people. I should have seen this all those years ago, but honestly it just grew tiring. It all starts to feel like a waste of time. I will be transparent with my thoughts from now on.
